Safe Banking Systems provides Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance Solutions to the financial services industry. We seek candidates with at least 2-3 years experience to provide first level customer support for external customers using software applications related to watch list filtering.
The successful candidate will be prepared to provide front line (phone/email) support for clients, test and debug reported issues and work with developers to solve problem issues. The role involves troubleshooting, proactive monitoring and quick turnaround on problems.
- Log, monitor and update cases on SBS' Issues Tracking database.
- Analyze information provided by customer, recreate issues and resolve problems.
- Respond to first-level support inquiries and questions from our customers concerning SBS software application.
- Coordinate with 2nd.level support team and/or developers for complex customer issues to resolve problem issues.
- Assist with alpha and beta testing of software components as directed.
- Prepare and conduct software demonstrations for customers as directed.
- Assist 2nd level support team and/or developers with documentation preparation and updates.
- Assist with project implementations as directed.

- Java applications
- Web Application servers (Websphere, Weblogic)
- Knowledge/experience with industry standard databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Effective communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate on the phone, in person and in writing with all levels, internal and external.
- Advanced listening skills and customer service attitude with the ability to show sensitivity to users’ questions and requests.
- Ability to accomplish expected operational, quality assurance and service levels individually and also in a team environment.
- Results-oriented, analytical problem solver.
- Demonstrates a professional presence.
- Have the ability to learn quickly and provide a basic level of product training to end users.
- Minimum years of experience: 2-3 years.
- Minimum education: Bachelors degree or Technical Diploma (preferably Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering).
- Financial background and/or knowledge of regulatory compliance is a plus.
