The requirement for KYC and PEP filtering against large volume customer databases is a challenging issue for financial institutions today.  The initial investment in watch-list filtering systems is only a small portion of the actual ongoing costs to manage alerts and subsequent cases – from first level review through escalated, in-depth research.

SBS has invested significant research and development in a suite of services and associated software modules designed to address the two most pressing issues:

SAFE Advanced Solutions® integrates software and services for a more manageable watch-list filtering process.  Using FircoSoft or any other filtering engine with any AML application, the solution offers flexible options for batch mode filtering against leading industry databases such as World Check.  This product suite provides a fully automated, risk-based approach to watch-list filtering. 

SAFE Exposure Index® (EI) previously licensed as SBS’ PEP Index is a unique, new, fully automated method of daily risk and exposure ranking of PEPs and other high risk entities.  No longer do institutions have to deal with imprecise selection criteria to determine what entities to scan against.   With the help of SBS’ analytical expertise, clients can select a threshold or “top number” of PEPs and high risk entities for scanning.  This will produce only relevant alerts for a more manageable PEP process.

SAFE Xfer is a utility to automate  the process of downloading the World-Check database or subsets from the SBS secure web site, on a scheduled or on-demand basis.

SAFE View is a software module and daily, automated service that includes delivery of the complete database and software to display profiles for research purposes when reviewing alerts.  All “links” are enabled for immediate display of related entities and information sources.  All database fields are contained in the profile.  SAFE View is available in a Desktop or Enterprise Edition with or without reports to meet the needs of a variety of institutions.

SAFE  View Options are available for Advanced Link Analysis, Advanced Link Monitoring and Advanced News Monitoring.
