SAFE Toolbar® automatically determines when a World-Check or Dow Jones Watchlist entity is accessed via the online service and displays the associated SAFE Exposure Index® for that entity. Using mathematically-based logic and proprietary algorithms, SAFE Exposure Index ranks daily the relative political and criminal exposure of each entity in the World-Check and Dow Jones Watchlist database to determine risk.

World-Check and Dow Jones Watchlist online customers can now enhance their research capabilities and enjoy the benefits of Safe Banking Systems’ innovative technology. SAFE Toolbar® does not require any modifications to the World-Check or Dow Jones online service. Once installed in your Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox browser, the toolbar itself handles a background call to SAFE EI and displays the EI value for the entity requested (a value ranging from 1 -Low Risk- to 100 -High Risk-). Online users can immediately recognize the level of risk for the profile they are viewing.

No customer information is passed in the background process, only an entity number and a license key.

Risk ranges are user defined and color coded for immediate identification of those PEPs and other high risk entities that present the greatest risk to your organization. SBS’ EI default values and color coding are easily customized to your specifications with a few simple clicks. Additional functionality for advanced link analysis, link monitoring and news monitoring can also be accessed with a single click on the Toolbar’s icons. When licensed as an optional component to SAFE Advanced Solutions®, SBS customers can also display the SAFE View profile, Circle of Friends and The Inner Circle.
